Deep-frying is done by submerging the "victim" in hot fat or oil. Frying is normaly less than one inch of fat/oil. Electrocuting (accidental or not) is also called frying and has not much to do with deep-frying. I have to know the difference! Every year i deep fry many unsuspecting turkeys for thanksgiving and christmas. Also as ex radio/tv repairguy, i know how it is to be "fried" by electricity.
