(text taken from somebody's web page. Sorry, don't know whose) There are these banners on lampposts along 41st Ave. in Vancouver, with each banner representing a planet in our solar system. The spacing between the banners is to scale. So there are a few banners within a few blocks near UBC, representing Mercury, Venus, and Earth. But the banner for Pluto is way the heck out on the east side of town.
