It's still Word Association, but with stopping points. You've got to go from A to D: A, B, C, D. Once you reach D, you start with D and have to go to J: D, E, F, G, H, I, J. So, really, you've simply gone from A to J, but with a forced path midpoint of D. For a slightly better effect, the person who reaches the endpoint should pick both points, not just the end.
