We put up the three big walls and gables today, and I got the basement half filled with gravel.
It's a wonderful feeling when things start to come together - with the big walls up, it's starting to look like a house.
Dad's brother was there helping today. It's incredible, watching those two work together. When Dad was running his construction company, John worked for him, and their experience working together really shows. They barely need to speak, even at the complex, dangerous parts.
Well, that's my update for the weekend - it'll be monday before I'm out at the lot again.
