You know what it's like trying to counter someone else's magick, I'm sure. It would probably be easier all the way around just to ask NOLA to take care of the matter. Besides, it sounds as though fate may settle the matter with no need for other intervention.

Something to bear in mind, too: Bellator's a warrior at heart; he knows the energies and how they flow, but he uses them instinctively and physically. Protection and healing work require an intense concentration on the energies, as well as an ability to externally guide them. That might actually harm the abilities he's already honed so well -- if you spend too much time or effort thinking about Ch'i, you find it much more difficult to move in harmony with it. Of course, it's his choice. I'd never tell a person not to extend their learning. But I'd want him to know that it will involve some re-learning, as well.
