I politely corrected your assertion that aluminum was the correct and original name, or that you had the oldest and newest name "We've got the oldest AND the newest forms, you ninny. ;-P". Admittedly there was a (gasp) tongue in cheek "nyah nyah" avec cheeky wink attached, but I figured (perhaps I overestimate some people) that it would be seen for the harmless "cheeky" reply it was intended to be.
You responded by insinuating I was purposely trying to mislead perhaps?. And *how* did I misread my own reference? You're right I didn't include the whole sentence...that my boy is why I included the reference...so some bright spark such as yourself could go and *read* it for themselves. The whole point of this excercise (although apparently a pointless one) was simply to enlighten *some* people that the word that they thought was the orignal was indeed NOT the original.
