only and tell people if they are intrested to mail the list owner which is what you can do when listing them if you choose to list the group. I had to do that at one point because I formed a cancer group. I did it because the regular yahoo group was getting bombarded by this jack@$$ who kept being curel to people for their treatment choices and flogging his own method mercielessly. Some left the group and many were fed up. They had complained to yahoo but nothing was done. He spammed the people in the groups emails with his product info and ignorant comments. So I took his email, tracked him down and got him kicked off hotmail and bigfoot. Then I formed the group and invited everyone but him in... they gladly came in and they thanked me for making a place where they could just be and find the support they needed instead of someone using their pain, and trials to market stuff.
