They make sure that women that won't appeal to us mentally or emotionally (due to their insecurity and other faults) are clearly labelled just by their appearance.

It's called Truth in Advertising, and it means that your prejudicial first impression is actually correct!

It also fully explains why beautiful women with brains have a hard time finding compatible companionship. And suggests that truly intelligent women put on a bit of flesh, just so they avoid those limitations!!!

Now, how much of this process is automatic and sub-conscious I don't know. But it seems to explain a lot to me.
