If the dealers are selling unlawfully they should be in jail. Since the BATF seems to be aware of the problem, why are these dealers not in jail? If the guns are being distributed via out of state "straw man" purchases, the purchaser of the gun from the dealer faces FEDERAL jail time of at least five years per firearm. Why are they not being arrested? The notion that manufacturers should be held accountable for the failings of law enforcement to do their jobs is absurd at best. I won't even waste time with going into some of the other "author's" ideas WRT public release of original purchaser's information etc.
