Tea Types by Nickface2003-06-06 07:44:02
Chai tea is fun and has become popular by tzulah 2003-06-06 09:50:20
I was on a hunt for a new favourite drink a while ago, and I discovered chai tea. It's become a popular coffee house drink, but it's easy to make at home too! There are lots of recipes out there, but they all have the same basic ingredients:

- water
- cinnamon (stick, preferably)
- cardamom
- black pepper (whole)
- cloves (whole)
- milk
- unperfumed black tea (loose or teabags work too - Orange Pekoe works well, though I hear Darjeeling makes excellent chai tea)
- sugar to taste

Boil the spices and water in a saucepan. Reduce heat and add the remaining ingredients, brew and serve! Very yummy, and you can adjust the ingredients to you or your guests' taste.
