ok, so usually, after 9 or 10 hours at wrok, I go home, cook dinner, clean up after the kids, vaccum up all their messes, water the plants, wash the dishes, bathe the kids, dress the kids for bed, read 'um some books, tuck 'um in, put a load of clothes in the wash, fold the ones that I left in the dryer yesterday, pay some bills, try to straighten out the back room (kids have been in their "playing") jump on the 'puter and play with photoshop for a while (if I'm feeling creative), feed the dogs, go to the garage and smoke a smoke (yes, I'm better, but still haven't quite quit) while listening to a ball game on the radio, put the clothes that were in the wash in the dryer, start another load of laundry, fold the clothes that came out of the dryer, think about where to put the railroad ties I need to move around tomorrow (9 feet of heavy, creosote encrusted hell), think how nice it would be to fill a glass with Baileys and watch some mindless crap on the tube... then fall asleep on the couch because I don't have the energy to even go to the kitchen and pour a glass.
Gawd I love being a grownup. |
