Be careful, don't trust what creditor's tell you. They will lie to get their money. If they say you have signed something, make them produce it. I went thru a nasty divorce that put me in bankruptcy One creditor said I had signed agreement that secured my charges with what was bought. At first we came to an agreement to how much I would pay them back, then they raised the amount with a threat to repossess my refrigerator. I figured I had nothing to lose so I asked them to produce the agreement and they couldn't (it never existed, and later someone started a class action lawsuit against them because of that tactic). So just be careful and hopefully everything will turn out ok.
