Harm is change with a negative connotation. In it's most generic form, we might say that harm is change that disrupts the (to be changed) object's function. This is why people can say that to teach Z is harmful, while another says that Z is helpful. We [humans] have the habit of assuming what the other person "should" be like and try to limit things that we find distasteful or disagreeable. What should be done, is to teach everything and let everyone experience everything that is possible and allow the individual to decide for oneself what one's behaviours will be.
