The ethics of drugs (from what this discussion shows) is twofold: Using drugs to alter how one's personality appears to others is dishonest, and therefore unethical. And using drugs to hide from one self is ultimately harming one's self, and is therefore unethical. Any other use of recreational drugs must therefore be considered ethical. If a bit puzzling to me.
