How do children learn ethics? And what by LurkerMo 2003-06-02 13:54:20
can we do if they don't? Seems to me that they become a menace and a burden that Society has to take care of instead. Which would be unethical behaviour from the parents.

Or is what parents teach their children really Morals, not ethics? Damn, I just don't understand the difference between morals and ethics. I know what ethics is, but I'm very fuzzy on morals. Would morals be equivalent to 'other people's ethics'?

Anyways, lacking perfection, would it be possible for you to take an action doing great harm to someone, and only find out about the harm later?
What if you then say to yourself "Damn, I should have seen that coming". Would your actions be ethical in your Goddess' view? How much responsibility do you have to be aware of the implications of what you do?
