If you want to discuss ethics in some situational context, that's fine, but the psychology of morality and behavior, which you seem to be attempting to bring to the fore, isn't really my bag.

What I mean is, you don't seem to want a debate on ethical systems, or even the pros and cons of personal codes of ethics. What you seem to want is a discussion of behavior and behavior modification. That's fine too, but I'm not really interested in it.

Anyway, I think it was Kant who first coined the phrase "Mon chien l'a mangé."
