How can something be unethical but not evil? Maybe intention is more important than I originally thought. And the intent to deceive may always be there, hidden in the back of our minds. But you are persuading me that an occasional change can be a good thing - broaden perspective, give a slightly different viewpoint. Which would be OK, ethically. I wouldn't trust my own motives in this, so I consider recreational drugs a bad thing for myself. But you are persuading me that this may not be true for everybody. Again, we are as always limited in our understanding and perception. With perfect vision we would always be able to act ethically correct. muttering Human fallibility - is that what the Bible was trying to get at? I thought they said something about sin.
