Enhance: to make better, greater, etc.; heighten If a person is a jerk, an enhancing drug will only make them more of a jerk; if a person is a jerk, an altering drug might make them a reasonable human being. If there is harm in it, then it's bad. If there's no harm in it, then it's not bad. That's my bottom line. There is nothing inherently evil in recreational anything.
