I've never used 1-5 excuses ... or at least not since adulthood. I sure WISH I had sometimes, but when push comes to shove, I just don't. Unsurprisingly I've lost friends over this. In the presented test situations, I never even blinked, but I would use a small white lie to keep from hurting a friend, or turn a blind eye if it was a harmless activity from a friend... or taken a person to the side privately and let them know when I've seen something I feel must be reported.
