Disappearing socks. by pecosdave 2003-05-27 06:13:10
We have found the answer to our nuclear wast problem. The answer is SOCKS! When you put a load of 20 matched pairs of socks in the wash, you will get back 19 pairs of socks and one orphan. The answer to the worlds nuclear waste problem is to put a landromat in ever nuclear power station. When nuclear waste is produced, it should be placed in matched pair socks and laundered in lead lined washer and drier pairs. When an orphan is created, it should be rolled up with the waste still inside and stuffed into another sock then placed into a new load. If this cycle is continously repeated eventually all of our nuclear wast will disappear and nuclear energy truely will be amoung the safest forms of power generation. Yes a lot of socks will be sacraficed but it is a small price to pay for our power.
