but they do sound very nice outside of that. At some point I want to get a tenor or base flute. They have a very mellow sound and are a good solo instrument. Supprano sax can also carry it's own solo. The other saxes I played well they can do solo they sound better in a band. But the 12 string acoustic I mentioned is a good solo that you can play a variety of styles and of course do chords on it. Actually I think the chords on a 12 string are probably more complex than those I learned on a 6 string.
