I get the dictionary.com header (down to line 180 of the HTML), then instead of the term to be defined, I get that error message.
Looks like a tiered application, where the web application server is having difficulty talking to the server that actually handles the definitions. Fairly consistent about it for me, but I have seen the definition once out of 15 reloads.
Odd. Possibly different behaviour because of a round-robin DNS that's sending us to different web servers (some of which are malfunctioning), or maybe they've actually got some regional algorithms in there. Can't seem to convince it to send me to a functional server, even after closing the browser & flushing DNS cache. |
