i haven’t been much into the gaming realm recently, but there some newer games i thought i might give a try, which of course means buying more ram and a newer video card for my workstation, and adding a Windows partition. I should of known better to use the FDISK that comes on the windows disk. Bye bye, Linux installation. But hey, no big deal, I can always reinstall thing, etc. So I go on my way installing windows, and all I get to the point where it says “Running Windows for the first time” and all of a sudden it says not enough memory to load windows? What the hell? I know I have installed Windows 98SE on a computer with less then 1.5gigs of RAM! Wait, 1.5gigs was unheard of because then. <ME removes 2 of my 512 DDR’s> It works, ok still got work to do before I am dual booting, and running SIM CITY 4
(btw, do anyone know how I can support 1.5 gigs of ram under windows 98SE?)
