Email addy mundging in Xp? by Electric Storm2003-05-24 00:48:20
  n/t Mundge? by DireEyez2003-05-24 02:14:11
Ok, what is the word to muddy ones' addy by Electric Storm 2003-05-24 02:25:55
so it is no longer a useful addy to spam to.
I've seen mundge and munge both used.

What I need to know is how to do it in IE in WinXP.
I'm not familiar with XP ( don't want to yet ) or IE ( prefer Nutscape) .

I've heard that one can use their real addy to do email etc. and a different one when posting to usenet news groups .

I just modify mine when I post etc. but have tochange it back to the correct one when I email people ( they get miffed if I forget to change it and replies bounce as 'user unkown') .
