Mozilla is bloated, and has lots of extra stuff bolted to it that is not needed for web browsing. Phoenix is a very lightweight rework of the Mozilla browser component, done in XUL, and it's just plain better. I used to use Moz, and will switch back to it from Phoenix just as soon as they make Phoenix the browser component of Mozilla, i.e., around version 1.5.
