I find it lots faster than mozilla but it's based on the same engine(gecko). Also it takes several extensions(aka mozilla addons) which are handy. And I know what you mean on IE. When I'm in win2k I have to have IE6 installed simply because my scanner software uses it. I'm not sure why it uses that for it but it does. :/
