It's just not affordable for us mere mortals or families on budgets. They'd probably make more money by cutting the cost making it affordable which in turn would cause more people to buy it.

My main beef is I save up for something and it seems cool. Then after I've spent the money on it I don't like it or find it isn't quite what I thought it was. I think they should allow people to try it in store or also have more demo versions available. Lots of software tho there is far more that doesn't do this... has 2 or more versions. As you said student and business. But also a freeware type one for personal use. If they like it at home they'll likely spread the word on it and it may end up used at their work but in commercial form for the "extra features."
