lol... I'm certifiably sane dear ... by Arienadean 2003-04-26 21:45:29
Yes I have it in writing! I'm just autistic and have some other things but otherwise perfectly sane.(just not perfectly normal... hahaha)

I'd say yes and no to the career training. People tend to either go with what skills they have that they figure they should strengthen and try to live off of. Or they go with something they have a strong intrest in.

I agree though somethings can be learned with time and life experience. All of us are probably quite diffrent from the children we were. Wiser, older, and more experienced in things.

In my case propably helps that they tried to train me to "walk a mile in anothers shoes" amoungst other things. But on my own I learned to be observant and analyzing... I had to to survive tho when small it was more curiosity.(school age it was survival) So I've got reasonable at detecting patterns which may well bring me to a conclusion on whatever.

However one thing I know is I don't do good in management. I feel uncomfortable in leadership roles.(comparative feeling to stage fright) Not that I wasn't good at what I did when I did it but I'm more of a follower than a leader. I like structure and things laid out for me so to speak and left to work on my own to achieve defined goals.(if they are too abstract I don't know what to do with myself and it is very frustrating)
