Very disapointing. Unless you already know Linux well, it would be impossible to work out. Other than having to manually start the X-session, then the Xsession has no on-screen controls. You have to know to right click the desktop to get a menu. Even I took a minute to realise I wasn't looking at a crashed window manager. Oh, well. My student's will have to use real Knoppix in English. That distro is brilliant for a demo. I am also trying them to get them to buy a commercial Chinese Linux (Red Flag or Blue Point) and extolling them to spend the extra 40RMB to get the boxed version with a book. Those getting-started books are invaluable for newbies.
