I ran off a few CD-Rs from a new block of disks last night and was miffed that none of them worked. I ran off a disk from my old stack (same brand - not that that means much here, but this brand has previously been VERY reliable). The disk off the old stack worked fine. Even rebooted the system, the disk off the new block were not even recognised by the drive as valid disks.
I went to bed grumpy (I can take back the disks, but that's a hassle).
This morning, all the disks that were not working last night seem to work fine (for how long, tho, I wouldn't hazard a guess).
