... I did really good. Then I hit high school... and it all went to hell. I started hanging out with the totally wrong people, mostly stoners, metalheads, and assorted losers like that. Mainly it was because I was depressed because of my crappy life at home and the depressing town I grew up in. I hung out with them because they accepted me, and thus I spent my high school years blowing off classes and getting high nearly every morning. And so, to answer your question, I ended up doing Junior year twice, and I left after that. If I went back, I would've been a Junior for a third year.
Afterwards, I started actually working and having responsibilities, and later got my GED, and later after that I decided to go back to school. And that's where I am now. I get good grades nowadays. It's weird, because I know now that if I actually applied myself I could've aced high school and gone to college. But I don't fret about it; I'm simply making up for lost time now. It's better late than never. |
