DDR is a dance game made by Konami that came out in 1998 and has made several sequels since. You play the game by stepping on squares with arrows in time to the arrows that come up on the screen. I have it for my PS2 and bought a dancepad for the PS2 as well, but it's not the same thing as the arcade model. Check out this link for more: DDRFreak- a community site about DDR
