Turbo buttons are FUN... by oot 2003-04-26 12:29:22
I had machine with a turbo button that had had most of the components inside replaced/upgraded at least once and the turbo button was no longer connected to anything. So whenever I got bored waiting for the machine, I could sit there and push the button, feeling like a was accomplishing something yet secure in the knowledge that I wasn't doing anything. When other users of the machine would complain about it, I'd always tell them to try pressing the turbo button (it gave me time to make a getaway).

Every case should come with a button that doesn't do anything. I suspect the death rate from computers-flying-out-windows-bonking-passers-by-on-the-head would be drastically lowered if this was the case.
