I went to summer camp several times(horseback riding in the spring, photography/editing another year, etc), and also they gave us colledge level courses in highschool. Also after highschool I took some more courses some of which related to my sons special needs. So I've done a variety of things.
No I don't basket weave but I do carve, bead tapistry, satin stich, cross stich, water colours, dough craft, ceramics painting, etc. I started in art very young due to an aunt whose a pro artist and a family friend who ran the PBS art show for many years.
As for water... I had my bronze, silver, gold, and water safety by age 13. Again summer swimming lessons(red cross), I loved water, and also my parents friends owned a swimming pool. |
