...at least, when speaking of overall grades. I'm sure there's nobody among us who has never been given an 'F' for something, even if a small thing that was either missed or just irrelevant.
In my case, the most humiliating 'F' was for the "Speaking and Listening" part of English. Without it, my 'C' overall grade for the subject would undoubtedly have been a B or an A. And yet, in class, I was a veritable talking dictionary. I just didn't have any social skills.
I don't think I'll ever think kindly of that teacher.
