I think that what most people are complaining about in this thread is what I see in my sister and most of her classmates (aged 15) - wearing make-up to school every day. Hell, she gets up an hour earlier than I used to when I was in school to do her hair, makeup, ...; she'd rather die than even leave the house without makeup

she actually often spends ages in front of the mirror, with the cordless phone next to her set to loudspeaker mode, talking to someone else who, you can imagine, is busy with the same thing. As my dad once said when he saw her like that: Why are you talking to the hairdryer?

I can only talk about my own age-group, give or take a few, and my sister, of course, but I haven't seen many girls who can use make-up properly, i.e. sparingly. Two that I can think of off the top of my head.
