A little can be a good thing. Most girls I know like to put on a bit of makeup now and then. It makes an occasion feel more special for them.

I do agree though that there is such a thing as too much. My SO used to get made up just to sit in a dark theater... fortunately, she now uses less and uses it more for special public occasions where her efforts can be seen and appreciated.

On another positive note, we don't miss spiffy previews anymore either. Who's seeing X-men 2?
