If I remember right, NK said they had a nuclear weapons program. Big difference from having nukes. Plus US intelligence says they have untested missiles capable of reaching the west cost, such as San Fransisco and Porland.
And it's not just the US on this issue, Japan is quite concerned as is South Korea about this issue. Japan has been a very good ally through several engagements including Afghanistan and backed US in the Iraq war.
Finally, Bush can't be blamed for the economy. There are still companies coming out and saying they were cooking the books (as it were those years are Clinton years as well). |
