... because they're competitors, remember? Now, if you're thinking clearly, you'd say; "Hey, if there was a common platform, we wouldn't have these issues! Everyone could profit!" After all, the different record companies and movie studios don't each have their own CD and DVD standards; the industries got together and decided on them so there wouldn't be platform problems.
