(Well, THAT got every DMU's (Drooling Male UFies) attention!)
I am very serious, though. WHY has that portion of female anatomy suddenly (in the last 75-150 years, in varying degree) become obscene in the Western world? This mostly appears in North America, but it is true to varying degrees all over the modern world. It used to be that only truly extreme fundamentalist types (Puritans, et. al.) would fuss about that, but in the past century it is endemic.
Why is it so wrong to expose them, and why have males (and some females) been so caught up in drooling over them? I've heard it's advertising, but long before the current "ad culture" got going, this trend was in place.
Why is it that Peruvians (referring to an earlier posting this week) have no difficulty with breast feeding around others, even in public, while here, taking pictures of it being done in private gets charges brought and children stolen by the State?
How is it that men can go topless, and women can't? I've always thought that that is wrong, since childhood. Just not fair. The stated reason is BS (clothing is FAR more tittilating than bare skin (no pun intended)), and so what other reason is there?
I'll admit that female toplessness might start a few riots until people get used to it, but they would. It's certainly no worse than drooling at a particularly nice looking leg, or whatever. We need to remove this BS from our lives. The healthcare gains alone would be worth it. No obsession with breast size, more women would be driven to exercise (at least for a while) and breast support could be contrived without the need to conceal.
