XFree86 seems to take forever (forever being measured in seconds, long enough to make me bored and annoyed) to load for me (p3/650). It's even worse when I'm playing with window managers, because X somewhy feels the need to close (slowly) and restart (slowly) every time I switch WMs - which maxxes out my processor and hangs everything else momentarily. |
