My dad is building a pool table in the basement. He's got a staple gun plugged into a power strip which connects to another one which connects to another which connects to one of four outlets in my bedroom in the basement. These four outlets and the lights are all on the same breaker. I also have my computers, laptop, monitors, printers, DVD player, VCR, tv, surround sound, subwoofer, stereo system, cd player, and anything else I missed (including my small collection of old PCs) hooked up down there. Everytime my dad fires the staple gun, the monitor hooked up to my laptop goes into standby for a second and everything else flickers. Then, I ask him to plug it in somewhere else, and he gets mad because "I'm worried for nothing"....
