Actually, it's not a "proper" name	by curly	2003-04-24 07:39:44
the guy's name is Linus. Linux is a derivation of a proper name so the grammer rules I learned, lo those many years ago, neither require nor prohibit caping it. ISTRT Linus says it should be capitalized. It's his word so IMHO he has the, er, last word. Personally, I type Linux often so I mix. In public documents I cap, but I rarely cap in program comments or post-it notes.
