Every time I've seen a broadband/DSL router on sale in this country it always has a DSL modem included. Far as I'm concerned that's the very definition of the device. If you just have an ethernet uplink then its just a plain router.

Rant over.

As to the system in place over here in the UK? Really couldn't tell you. I know it has to support PPPoA authentication, but that's all I know.
