Quite a few times someone has complained that their server IP addresses have been "stolen" by someone else's server, and angrily demanded that we return them to point towards the correct server... until we patiently explain to them that neither the IPs they lost nor the IP of the server they want them to point towards exist within our address space, and there's absolutely nothing we can do to fix a problem with a server that we don't have!
