Primary Domain Controller Software..? by cmantito 2003-04-17 20:53:13
Anyone know of any good OSes to use as a Windows 2000/NT4 Domain Controller on a 5-10 PC network? Can be linux, NT, 2000...what's the reccomendation? The computer we want to use has 6-7 gb HD (for now, eventually we're adding another 10gb drive) and is 266 mhz... What version of linux or windows might be good for this? We've got a bunch of 2000 workstations, one Win98 workstation, maybe one or two NT 4 workstations, and one linux workstation.

I've heard lots of different things about different versions of linux/windows to use for the PDC...what's the general reccomendation?

Thanks gazillions,
Cmantito
