                You know, you're supporting an idea that I read by Arcanum 2003-04-17 19:27:12
somewhere. I think it was tangentally related to the game Black & White, but the idea itself is interesting. Basically, the idea says, Christianity is the universe's biggest good cop/bad cop routine. You've got God stomping his feet and pounding his fists saying that if you don't do what He wants, He'll make horrible things befall you. Then you've got Jesus who comes around says that, yeah, bad things might happen if you don't go along, but he really likes you, and doesn't want anything to happen, and really wants to help you out.
