Though I am a little surprised about so few having a simple firearm safety class. That's one reason why I support putting the Eddie Eagle Program in all schools. It's a neutral message, and it would go a long ways towards preventing accidents with kids.

As for adults, if there were some way to make safety training mandatory without leaving it vulnerable to gov't abuse I'd be all for it.
