The sailing I would wait for summer (my dad had a small two man sailboat at one time - I wasn't strong enough to turn the sail so I didn't get to go out alot) but in case you tip the boat over make sure the water is warm enough for you to deal with

as far as learning to play something make sure Jen doesn't have a headache before you start - I have seen several threads in diaries on playing the guitar so maybe someone here could helpwith any question that you think of with that
