a great book on this subject by amish 2003-04-17 14:57:14
It isn't just that any given event is insanely improbable that causes one to believe in a higher power, its that -all- conditions for the development of life are insanely improbable.

Read The Science of God, by Gerald L. Schroeder. Very good book, and does a great job of puting this argument in a very accesable form for both believers and non-believers.
